Football is confusing, and women (according to many, many vintage educational films) are dumb. Put them together and it is a deadly combination! Our heroes at Everything is Terrible have outdone themselves today with this awesome ’80s instructional video, for all the wives, mothers, sisters and daughters in our lives that just don’t get it! Now maybe they won’t be so damn annoying while we’re trying to be manly men, right?
What might be the most brilliant thing about this clip is the EIT-style editing. They cut out everything but the confusing bits, the woman being lost and the final moments of the men just laughing at her. Nothing but the best for the folks at home. The cream of the patronizing, embarrassing and awkward crop.
Oh, how times have changed. Right? Right? Oh, no! Now things have just gone the other way. Now the ladies really love football.
