The ’80s were known for many things, including awesome fashion, crappy cartoons and the rise of video games. The ’80s had so much more to offer. Did you know that the ’80s was the premiere decade for making ridiculously silly faces if you were an older person in France? Neither did we.
We now present The 1985 World Face-Pulling Competition. Check out this amazing selection of old Europeans trying to eat their own face, look exactly like Popeye the Sailor Man and/or give us nightmares forever. Besides the freakish human cartoons, highlights include the the intense music, the bored audience and, at the very end, the polite clapping from the gracious losers in the background.
None of their faces seemed to “stick like that,” so go ahead and try it at home, kids!
