Though Will Arnett (Arrested Development, Mr. Amy Poehhler) isn’t exactly retro, we absolutely adore him. Here at Retro Comedy, if it ain’t nostalgic, we don’t post it. So when we saw him doing some serious retro hilarity on Jimmy Fallon‘s show last night, we were so excited!
Arnett, who often uses his deep voice as an announcer and works a great deal doing voice overs, is challenged by Fallon to do some cold reading . Mush to our delight, Jimmy whips out the 1970scoming-of-age classic, Are You There God, It’s Me Margret. Will reads, and we are so very happy.
