Who needs a cartoon with energy and intensity? Who needs their animation to have awesome songs?

Nothing gets kids riled up on a Saturday morning like a slowed down, softened parody of a 1960s British pop hit. That’s why, in 1991 the geniuses at DC used the 1966 hit “Wild Thing” as the foundation for the intro to their new animated series Swamp Thing. Clearly this was brilliant. The show ran for 5 whole episodes. Swamp Thing is amazing!
